Last week, we joined thousands of enterprise leaders at the Gartner IT Infrastructure, Operations, and Cloud Strategies Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Our booth was swamped with attendees wanting to learn more about our approach to the delivery of secure branch office infrastructure powered by the Cloud—the Cloud-delivered branch. Why was there so much interest? Gen1 SD-WAN and hardware-based approaches to the delivery of infrastructure services in the branch are broken and are a major barrier to branch transformation. The Autonomous SD-WAN (Gen2) and the Cloud-delivered branch are the answer.
IOC attendees had the opportunity to learn more about both at a Cloud-delivered branch event we hosted in the evening along with our partners, Equinix and Palo Alto. Guests enjoyed two hours of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and hands-on demos at the beautiful Opium Room of Tao Asian Bistro at the Venetian Hotel.
In addition to talks on delivering a secure cloud-delivered branch and the importance of high-performance multi-cloud, the highlight of the evening was real-world presentations by industry leaders from Salesforce and Columbia Sportswear. Georgi Stoev, senior network architect at Salesforce, talked about the advantages of transforming remote offices in the cloud-delivered branch with CloudGenix, Equinix, and Palo Alto. And John Spiegel, infrastructure at Columbia Sportswear, discussed enabling an omni-channel retail experience with the cloud-delivered branch.
These great presentations reinforced how essential the cloud is enabling digital transformation in the branch. Many thanks to our partners and customers for making this event such a great success and congrats to the winners of our Cirque du Soleil: KA tickets
We look forward to attending again next year with our latest developments in cloud technology.
